On 12 September 2025 it’s been exactly 30 years since the Lotus Elise premiered in Frankfurt, at the IAA show. Besides that, in 2025 it’s been 25 years since the brilliant Lotus Exige saw the light of day. From 10 to 12 September 2025 we drove amazing roads near Frankfurt to celebrate these anniversaries. We've selected the beste roads for the Elise and Exige drivers in Rhineland Palatinate, Eifel and the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park. On top of that, on 11 September Julian Thomson, Richard Rackham and Russell Carr AND Elisa Artioli joined us online for a Q&A. We've seen a memorable, unforgettable tribute tour.

One of the most rewarding ways to experience the magnificent Alps is by driving the scenic high alpine passes. From 20 to 26 June 2025 the French Alps were our driving terratory. The roads that traverse the French Alps are well-known for their twists and turns, high altitudes, and stunning vistas that provide an opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful destinations in Europe.

The Belgian and Luxembourg Ardennes are a real paradise for the drivers. There are many challenging roads and the fun level for drivers and their cars is excellent. So yes, we had fun during the Ardennen Run 2025 that took place from 23 to 26 April - a lot! We drove through undulating landscapes with long, then sharp bends. One hill peak was climbed by challenging hairpins, the next one was easier and more straightforward, so plenty of variety. 

The northwest of France isn't on every drivers bucket list. But it should be. Amazing curvy and quiet backroads made us believe we accidentally crossed the Channel and ended up in south England! Besides fine driving, we paid respect to the 80th anniversary of D-Day, among many other things. 

After several years without visiting the majestic Dolomites, we wanted to go back to one of the most beautiful areas to drive our beloved sports cars. The reunion was magic. And so were the Italian and Austrian Alps, We will return again for sure!

Who'd have thought we should have put 'snow chains' on the Sauerland Run roadbook checklist? Although we'd rather had sunshine and dry roads, the weather contributed massively to the new memories that were made during the tour. The roads and the people did as well, of course!

Colin Chapman and Hazel Williams founded Lotus in 1948. Little did they know that the Lotus Mark I would become the base of a legendary sports car brand. In 2023 we celebrated the 75th anniversary at the spot where a great deal of the magic happened: Norfolk, England.

A Pyrenees road trip was on our bucket list for many years - but the driving distance to get there stopped us. Until 2023.

After our first taste of the Eifel region in 2022, we knew we would return. And so we did, in 2023. Eifel Run 2023 took place in the southern part of the beautiful German region, near the Luxembourg border.

Goodwood Revival should be on every petrol head's must-see list. Of course because of the phenomenal  cars on display and on the race track. But also because of the perfect organisation and the throw back in time experience.

The Alps cross a number of countries. We did too, in 2022. Trans Alps took us to Switzerland, Italy and Austria. And we had a blast.

Our first Eifel Run was in 2022. And we loved it! The best roads for the drivers in the lowlands are to be found right there!
