Harz Spring Run

14 - 17 April 2027

You’ll be driving through scenery that looks as though it’s straight out of a fairy tale. Think deep, misty pine forests, rugged rock formations and thundering waterfalls. But the Harz has more to offer than just unspoilt nature. We’ll cruise past centuries-old cultural heritage, and you can visit picturesque UNESCO towns such as Quedlinburg and Goslar. Here, you can park your car amongst the colourful half-timbered houses, historic market squares and cobbled streets for a well-deserved photo stop and a good cup of coffee or lunch.
The Harz is renowned for its warm hospitality and boasts a robust, traditional cuisine. Expect authentic German schnitzels, tender game dishes straight from the local forests and hearty Harzer Roller (cheese) for connoisseurs. Naturally, we’ll round off the evenings with a good glass of locally brewed beer, a full-bodied German wine or a refreshing soft drink, whilst tall tales of the routes we drove are shared around the table.

The cost of the Harz Spring Run 2027 is approximately €700 per person based on a twin room and approximately €900 for accommodation in a single room.

Auvergne & Ardèche Tour

25 June - 2 July 2027

Sun, mountainous scenery, spectacular gorges and endless roads to drive. That’s what awaits you on the Auvergne & Ardèche Tour!

This part of France is driver’s paradise. No major roads, just challenging French départemental routes. In the Auvergne, we’ll tackle narrow, winding mountain roads with steep gradients around the volcanic peaks. As we head towards the Ardèche, the roads transform into a spectacular rollercoaster: hairpin bends carved into the rock, blind bends and deep precipices right next to your car. This demands maximum concentration, smooth steering and a passion for driving.

You’ll be driving through a French landscape rich in contrasts. First, we’ll traverse the otherworldly, verdant volcanic landscape of the Chaîne des Puys. Then we’ll descend into the rugged, sun-drenched limestone gorges of the Gorges de l’Ardèche. Along the way, you can stop off at picture-postcard villages such as Vogüé and Balazuc, which are built right up against the cliffs.

The midsummer sun is high in the sky, the roads are quiet and dry, and the group consists of true enthusiasts. After an intense day’s driving, it’s time for la douce France. We enjoy French cuisine and the convivial atmosphere on the terraces and in the hotels.

The cost of the 8-day Auvergne & Ardèche Tour is approximately €1,450 per person based on twin-sharing in hotels and approximately €1,890 based on single occupancy.

Lotus Club Holland Anniversary Tour

23 - 26 September 2027

We are deeply honoured that Lotus Club Holland has asked us to organise a tour to Lotus in Hethel to mark its 50th anniversary. This tour is our September tour!

In 1966, Lotus moved from its cramped premises in Cheshunt to a former RAF base in Hethel, Norfolk. This move gave Colin Chapman the space he needed to expand production and convert the runways into his own test circuit for fine-tuning the iconic Lotus handling.

The Norfolk countryside provides a striking contrast to this motorsport dynamism. The region is known for its sweeping, relatively flat horizons, vast fields and characteristic windmills. Its most water-rich highlight is The Broads, an iconic network of lakes and navigable rivers created by medieval peat extraction. This unique blend of serene natural beauty, extensive waterways and challenging driving routes makes Norfolk the perfect home for the Lotus brand and for this anniversary tour!

The programme is as follows (subject to change):

  • Thursday 23 September 2027 From 17:30 – Welcome reception and dinner at Torpedo Loods, Hoek van Holland
  • Thursday 23 September 2027 Ferry crossing including a two-person cabin: Hoek van Holland → Harwich
  • Friday 24 September 2027 Factory tour, Classic Team Lotus and driving on the Hethel test track
  • Friday 24 September 2027 Check-in at Hotel Dunston Hall (2-night stay on a half-board basis, including dinners)
  • Saturday 25 September 2027 Visit to other locations of significance to Lotus and the Chapman family. In the evening, an anniversary dinner with special guest(s)
  • Sunday 26 September 2026 Meeting with the Lotus Drivers Club East Anglia, followed by a group tour visiting several charming coastal towns.
  • Sunday 26 September 2026: Scenic drive back towards Harwich, farewell dinner, followed by a journey to Harwich for the return trip. Arrival in Hoek van Holland is on Monday morning, 27 September, at 8.00 am.
