Meet our co-pilot for 2026: Alba & her siblings

We are proud to announce our collaboration with Axarquia Animal Rescue (AAR). We have decided to adopt a dog each year as our official “mascot”. This means that we will not only make a financial donation to cover a part of the costs of care, but we will also closely follow this loyal four-legged friend on his or her journey to a forever home.

We're very happy AAR has let us 'adopt' Alba, a Mastin pup who was deserted and left to die in a bag, together with her 8 siblings. Alba, meaning 'Dawn' or 'New Beginnings' in Spanish, will be our - young - virtual co-driver in 2026. Alba has been adopted sinde early July 2026 by a lovely couple in Valencia. Still, we will keep on supporting the litter, because not all siblings have been so lucky yet.

We will sponsor AAR to support the upbringing and the care for the siblings that remain under care of AAR, during the time they're at their  fosters' home. Of course, we will update our followers every now and then!

The first few months of 2026, Pepe was our virtual co-pilot. We met Pepe, a Spanish Waterdog who used to herd goats, during a private road trip in Spain. When his job ended, the care ended as well. Completely unexpected, Pepe's heart stopped beating on 4. May 2026. His tail stopped wagging. Just a few months he has had the chance to get to know his second life. During these months, he received a tremendous amount of love and support.
