Pre registration and booking for this road trip is only for Lotus cars or one of its derived sports car types.

In 2023 Lotus Cars celebrates the 75th anniversary of the famous UK sports car company with a number of exciting global events and initiatives. One of the events will take place in September at the factory site in Hethel, Norfolk (UK).

The dates exactly match the days Bends&Curves road trips had already planned for the Lotus Heritage Tour 2023. We are delighted to announce that the 75th anniversary celebration will be part of the tour!

Since it’s early days, we can’t announce an exact program for the tour just yet. We can only provide an overall programme at the moment, which may still change in terms of content. Still, we would like to gauge how many people are seriously interested in participating in this tour.

At the moment we expect to offer the following programme (the provisional programme is subject to change):

• Tour dates: 14 September to 19 September (for mainland participants: we might return at the main land in the morning of 20 September)
• For people from the mainland: the tour will include the ferry crossing Hook of Holland – Harwich – Hook of Holland or Calais/Dunkirk – Dover – Calais/Dunkirk, depending on the country you originate from or your personal preference
• A drive on B-roads from Harwich to Norfolk
• Participation in Lotus 75th anniversary at the factory site (organised by Lotus Cars)
• Drive on Norfolk B-roads with Lotus Drivers Club East Anglia – the beautiful Norfolk coastline will be part of the tour
• Diner and meeting with former Lotus employees who have made their mark on Lotus history
• Lotus factory visit and Classic Team Lotus workshop tour
• Two laps (behind a safety car) on the Hethel test track
• Optional: Participation in a track day at Snetterton race track, Norfolk (if you don’t want to participate in a track day, we offer a nice drive on B-roads and/or a visit to Norwich)
• 3 or 4 nights in a three or four star hotel/B&B

At the moment we can’t offer a quotation for this tour. A conservative estimate for the ferry (Hook of Holland – Harwich), hotel, participation in Lotus75, participation in the Lotus75 dinner, factory visit/CTL workshop tour and laps on the Hethel test track is about € 1.100 per person based on 4 nights hotel with bed&breakfast (double/twin room) and a car and hut with 2 persons on the ferry. The ferry crossing Dunkirk/Calais to Dover is a bit cheaper than Hook of Holland – Harwich.
